Today’s question is “Do you have to make mistakes to become wiser?
With all the hype about learning from the school of hard knocks we have venerated making mistakes over walking a mistake-free path. We are taught or made to believe that it is better to fall and get up than not fall at all.
But is that really true? Do mistakes really make us wiser? Mistakes can be dangerous – it can cost our life, our reputation, our health, and many a time it can be an entry point for Satan.
So what is the way out?
The Scripture says in 2 Timothy 3 says, “All Scripture is inspired by God and is profitable for teaching, for rebuking, for correcting, for training in righteousness that the man of God may be complete, equipped for every good work.”
So my dear friend, invest your time in God’s Word – to make you wiser. You can avoid a whole lot of mistakes and problems by learning from His word.
