Today’s question is: Why do we lack, or feel we lack, God’s peace when circumstances become chaotic?
Peace is a fruit of the Spirit according to Gal 5:22 . We have it given to us when we are born again. But the reason we feel the lack of Peace is because we are not responding in Faith to what God has done for us, given us, and promised us.
Trusting God–in His goodness and ability, and not our carnality, is responding in Faith and this releases the Peace of God in us. Isaiah 26:3 says it beautifully: You will keep him in Perfect Peace, whose mind is stayed on you, because he trusts in you.
Yes, peace is a byproduct of our trust in Him.
