Today’s question is, “How can I know God wants me well, when I see people all around me who are sick?”
My dear friend, it is important to use Scripture as the basis or plumbline for establishing the truth–not what we see around us or even our own personal experience
God’s desire is for us to be in good health. In 3 John 1:2, we read the blessing, “Dear friend, I pray that you may prosper in every way and be in good health physically just as you are spiritually.” (HCSB)
This is contrary to the popular belief that God gets glorified in our sickness.
The entry point for sickness could be because we live in a fallen world. It could be brought in by Satan. Or it could be a consequence of our own wrongful habits
But sickness never originated with God.
So the next time you fall sick, resist it. Don’t welcome it as an agent of God.
