Today’s question is: “What is God’s Favor?”
Daniel 1:9 says, “God granted Daniel favor and compassion in the sight of the commander of the officials.”
The favor of God in Daniel’s life helped Daniel in many ways.
He was able to keep God’s laws by not having to defile himself by eating unclean food.
He looked healthier than any of the other young men who ate the royal food
He was ten times better than all the magicians in the whole kingdom.
He was promoted to place of prominence in the king’s palace.
He was able to remain calm in the face of opposition.
He was protected from the lions
My dear friend, we can enjoy God’s favor because of Jesus. Grace came through Jesus. (John 1:17) And grace is God’s unmerited favor for us. Favor is accessed through faith! Receiving Jesus is receiving His favor!
Believe and begin to see God’s favor!
