Today’s question is, “Why is the resurrection of Christ important?”
We just celebrated Easter, now why is this event very important?
Christ resurrection is the foundation for our belief. Paul says in 1 Corinthians 15:14, “…if Christ has not been raised, then our preaching is in vain and your faith is in vain.”
Christ resurrection proved Jesus was the son of God. Romans 1:4 (NLT) says,
“He was shown to be the son of God when he was raised from the dead by the power of Holy Spirit.”
Christ’s resurrection meant Jesus conquered death. 1 Corinthians 5:21 (Berean Literal Bible), “For since death came by a man, so also by a man has come the resurrection of the dead.”
My dear friends, what a blessed privilege we all enjoy because of Christ’s resurrection! Now celebrate!
