Today’s question is, “What is the Gospel and who is it for?”
Gospel means Good News; And this Good News is available for all people!
The angels announced the “good news of great joy which will be to all the people” the day Jesus was born (Luke 2:10). Now what is the Good News?
The Good News is Jesus. He is the atoning sacrifice for our sins, and not only for ours but also for the sins of the whole world (1 John 2:2). Titus 2:11 says this beautifully, “the grace of God has been revealed, bringing salvation to all people.”
Yes my dear friends, we have in Christ a hope and salvation for mankind.
May we all be carriers of this wonderful message that Jesus is the Savior of all men (1 Tim 4:10).
And that God was in Christ, reconciling the world to himself, no longer counting people’s sins against them (2 Cor 5:19).
