Today’s question is, “How can we celebrate this July 4th?”
It is a great privilege for me to talk from Philadelphia, the birthplace place of American Independence.
As he saw the siege of Fort McHenry, Francis Scott Key penned these words to describe America: “the land of the free and the home of the brave.”
And so, as we celebrate our independence may we also celebrate the freedom we have in this land of the free.
Shall we also,
Celebrate the democratic republic system we have.
Celebrate the fact we have good men and women who are willing to die to protect our nation.
Celebrate that we have a fully functioning economy.
Celebrate that we have a working school system.
Celebrate the good transportation network we have.
And may we also celebrate the Godly heritage we have, and that we are one nation under God. And in God we Trust.
